FireFox 0.8 / New FTP Server!


Most of you who have known me since pre-Microsoft IE days know that I have always been a huge Netscape fan... Almost a year ago I started using Mozilla Firebird (the baseline engine that Netscape 7 uses, without the overhead) -- Well, Firebird is now known as "Mozilla Firefox" (due to a trademark/copyright issue) -- I think it's a great new name, and sports a cool new icon too!

If you're one of the many people out there still using Netscape 4.x, 5.x or 7; or (God forbid "I.E." or AOL); please consider downloading THIS browser! You can install it and try it without removing your other browser(s)!! Now with the new built-in WINDOWS INSTALLER, it's easy for anyone to install and begin using Firefox! Try it out, import your bookmarks with the spiffy Bookmark Manager and give it a week! You'll never want to go back!!

(Once you've done this, we'll get you to replace windows with Linux Desktop!!)


In other news, I have revamped my FTP/HTTP site!! http://mc4bbs.serveftp.net and ftp://mc4bbs.serveftp.net help yourself to files and more... The website is pretty empty for now... whadda ya expect from an old LYNX-browsing geek like me?
