As you can see, I'm starting to post a bit more on LiveJournal again... This is due to many factors, including the fact that twitter and facebook have both chosen to interfere with my postings on their respective platforms.
As the "safe harbour laws" vanish, yahoo, facebook, twitter and other social platforms are starting to punish their users for the content they publish. Yahoo groups have all but vanished, tumblr is a shell of what it used to be — and rumours indicate that they are going to be sold since it's completely not profitable now, facebook has been cracking down on messages in messenger and whatsapp...
Yes, LiveJournal was sold to a Russian company following me purchasing a lifetime membership in the mid-2000's — but at least they are the devil you know AND they won't give a crap about any U.S. companies ordering take-down notices!
So, once in a while, you can expect to see a few posts on LiveJournal once again — not quite to the extent as 2003 when I started blogging here, but more than there have been since I moved over to facebook.
