Chaz in Desert

Broadway Baby!

You are cordially invited to George and Martha's for an evening of fun and games...

A mate of mine is the Property Manager for a broadway troupe. He was kind enough to provide me free passes for myself and a friend to attend "Who's Afraid of Virginia Woolf?" This exclusively opened in Boston for a three week run with the "Broadway Across America" promotion before it moves to New York City for an open-ended run...

For those of you who don't know the play, the basic plot is "A night of fun and drinks for two college professors (one old, one new) and their wives turns into an emotional and psychological nightmare." For more details, click here. The lead actors, Kathleen Turner and Bill Irwin had amazing stage presence! If you're in Boston, don't miss it!

Well, that was Wednesday night! Thursday night, I took my buddy verdant_rhythm out to dinner for his birthday to the Irish Pub/Restaurant "The Four's" -- a delightful dinner too! Following this, we popped out to The Alley for a couple drinks and to attend the New England Bears monthly meeting (although I'm not a member of NEB, I'm a Boston Bear, I thought it would be nice to show some support. As usual, they cliqued off into their own sub-groups and tended to ignore me. Whatever!)

On Friday, following a hectic (and long) day at work, I took the "T" into Downtown (note: not the car!) to go to The Boston Bears Happy Hour at The Alley. As always, it was well attended. I hung out with Jay almost the whole time, then Chuck (Verdant_Rhythm) came and met me out after he got out of work! He came back with me to Quincy and we had a nice evening together! I made us both my "famous" french toast for breakfast when we finally got out of bed at 10:00 AM! :-)

Today, Saturday, I had to come into work for the LAST of the server moved from one end of the building to the other end. I'm glad that these late night weekend moves are over! It's almost 3:00 AM now, and have spent some time catching up on e-mail (I have TONS of circumcision-related e-mail from both people inquiring as to how I'm doing, as well as those that are interested in the procedure themselves.) I don't mind answering everyone's questions, but after a while, it feels very repetitious...

Oh, yeah -- as for my recovery? I'm doing GREAT and everything is functioning marvously! It looks and feels awesome! I can not get over the difference between then and now! I'm thourghly impressed with the work Dr. David Cornell did for me! I will be going back to Atlanta on April 8th for a few minor touch-ups to the underside and to close up the PA hole for good!

Looking for photos? Go to Dr. David's AC&R group and they are in the "Chaz (Boston MA)" folder.

This is to remind all Utica Tri's and their friends that our Home
Bar, "That Place", will be celebrating its 20TH ANNIVERSARY tonight,
SUNDAY, FEBRUARY 13TH, 2005 beginning around 7 PM.

If your free tonight, stop by and congratulate Marc and the Staff of
the bar and join in the festivities.

Congratulations, Marc (and to Joe Williams, who started it all those
20 long years ago!). Where does the time go???

Ron Gurney

I was there when "That Place" opened, and when the Utica Tri's were founded -- it'd be cool to go there, but I don't want to go alone.
