Keep Walking

Night of 1,000 Gowns

I was in New York City from Thursday, 03/04/04 thru 03/07/04. I was there to help support a friend who's mother passed away -- aside from the usual goings on at a funeral, mass and burial, all the family was there from New York, Detroit and Texas -- it was wonderful to see a family pull together in such a difficult event in their life.

Before leaving NYC, I grabbed a dozen bagels. ;-) I will be returning to NYC in a few weeks (March 25, 26, 27 and 28th, 2004) for the Imperial Court of New York City's Coronation "A Night of 1,000 Gowns" -- a benefit for amfAR (American Foundation for AIDS Research.)

Trivial goings on:

This comment was found handwritten on a $1 bill: "CALL FOR A GOOD TIME, 918-371-5529" ;-) I haven't called yet -- however, being the geek that I am, I "criss+crossed" the phone number and discovered that it belongs to:

Allen, Eric
11901 N 112th East Ave
Collinsville, OK 74021-4842

Speaking of dollar bills with writing on them; check out my stats for Where's George!
