Keep Walking

Well, here's one guy that has had worse luck with his motorcycle that I have this year... Bike is still running well (yea!!), and my new horn and saddlebags should be arriving today!

Interesting site of the day: The the Cancer Research and Prevention Foundation's Colossal Colon Tour!! The Colossal Colon is a 40-foot long, 4-foot high replica of a human colon. Visitors who crawl through the colon, or look through the viewing windows, will see healthy colon tissue, colon disease, polyps and various stages of colon cancer. The Colon was modeled after a real colon taken from colonoscopy film footage and is extremely lifelike. It's one of the weirdest things I've seen in a while... For a colon, it's much cleaner than I thought it would be -- I wonder if after you crawl through it there is a roll of Charmin to clean after yourself... ;-)

The Back Door

The Colossal Colon is coming to Boston, Mass.! The Colossal Colon Tour is free to the public!

Other than sharing MP3s, software and other files, what's a good use for P2P (peer-to-peer) networking? -- Check out this new application: Skype! Skype is FREEWARE and allows you to call anyone around the world for FREE who also has a Skype account! I've been very impressed with the quality of the service! It's amazing what geeks do in their spare time! If you want to try this application, simply click on the logo below. Remember: You need speakers/headphone and a microphone in order to hear and speak with Skype. A headset would be the BEST thing to use. to ensure privacy and prevent any kind of feedback loop.

Special shout-out to Kevin Pacek for the heads up on this cool utility/toy.

Oh, yeah!! Ruski & Bunny are back!! This crazy strip, loosly based on calvin and hobbes (sometimes even featuring them) is back in production (once a week!) Ruski and Bunny are both heavy drug-using circuit boys, Ruski wears tiger ears (similar to the ones in the Jose & the Pussycats movie), and Bunny wears rabbit ears... A sample is below. Click on the cartoon to see the index of other Ruski & Bunny cartoons.
