Apparently I'm not the only person that had a problem with this issue -- so a pal reccomended DD-WRT, which is opensource firmware for your router! DD-WRT is easy to install and configure, but isn't for the layman!!
If you're interested in installing DD-WRT in your router, feel free to -- just follow the directions for your hardware to the letter! In the case of a LinkSys wireless router, such as my WRT54G v2.2, you need to install the "mini" firmware before installing the "standard" DD-WRT version. As always, when flashing (uploading) your firmware -- DO NOT REBOOT/UNPLUG nor interrupt it, otherwise you'll have a new paper-weight!

Well, since 1 May I've been very busy the past 60 days -- London, Nottingham, New York City (twice), and God knows where else -- I can't keep track anymore -- as long as I'm having a good time, right?
A funny thing happened in the New York City subway... read on in this exerpt from the LiveJournal of
CCPhillyBearBoy/DeeJay Barney & LittleCrazyCub
Last night after the show, Barney came back to pick me up. I didn't really want to go back out but he convinced me to get off my lazy ass so we were out on our way for a benefit for Kevin Ambiance. As we were walking down into the subway, a hot leather wolf/bear caught my eye. We had the choice between two train platforms and I chose the most obvious, leather-clad one. :) As we walked down, Barney noticed his back left pocket, black and red. That would be right up my alley (figuratively, of course ;o)). Barney also saw his shirt "Ask me about my penis!". We were teasing each other about walking over and asking him. We were both curious but also shy, so we didn't say anything. He did catch me staring at him once, though. Soon the train arrived and we followed him aboard. After the next stop when two people sitting next to him got up, we dashed to take those seats. And then he spoke, breaking the silence, commenting on my Liberty Bears shirt. From there we did ask about his penis. :) :)
His name was Chaz and he was hot. After getting off the train, we realized that he had missed his stop and was now about 8 blocks off from where he was intending on going. We still weren't sure if that was intentional or not, but I was ready to follow him back. We had obligations though. Still, afterwards we had every intention on heading back to the Eagle to catch him. Before we split ways, Chaz gave Barney his card which low-and-behold had his LJ name on it. So hello to youmc4bbs. It was quite my pleasure meeting you. ;)
Yes, I am nuts.
So, once again, T-Shirts and nicely trimmed beards trigger the gaydar and new friends meet!
Well, I was going to put a bigger BLOG entry in here, including stuff from the NSMC Cancer Walk, my trip to New York City, the ECMC B.B.Q. and stuff, but I went to help my next-door neighbour with his computer for the last hour... So it's just about bedtime now... I'll try to post tomorrow.
