Here we go!!!

Now that I'm working, I'm firing up my travelling machine again... hang on tight, here we go!!! Next stops: Boston, MA; Edinburgh, Scotland; Gettysburg, PA; Hemlock, NY; London, England; Lyndonville, NY; Rochester, NY; Toronto, ON; and West Guilford, ON!! See Where's Chaz for details...

I've grown tired waiting for Alex to let me know when he wants to visit Scotland with me (I've been waiting nearly four years) -- so along with a regular London trip, I'm also going to Edinburgh, Scotland!

A note about some of my upcoming travels: I will be working whilst travelling for some of these trips! Look closely at my detailed schedule if you want to get together and hang -- my working and sleeping hours are in there to aid in figuring our my free time.

Do you really think that I think it's really all about me?

It was recently brought to my attention that some people consider my online calendars (Where's Chaz), my blog and websites to be nothing more than self-serving narcissism. (Narcissism is the personality trait of egotism denoting vanity, conceit, or simple selfishness. Applied to a social group, it is sometimes used to denote elitism or an indifference to the plight of others.) To which, I reply: Oh yeah?, What of it? ... I'm joking!!

Anyone that's actually taken the time to get to know me as a person has learned that 'Where's Chaz' is most important to me -- so I know what I'm doing from day to day! As with most interesting people, I have my share of disorders; however, narcissistic personality disorder isn't one of them.

My calendars, blogs, photos, thoughts and such are online to share my experiences, beliefs and plans with others in order to probe for responses, suggestions and perhaps companionship -- nothing more.

I was one of the early-adapters to 'digital life', starting in 1977 I was online at 300 BAUD and an acoustic modem. I have and continue to embrace technology. I feel it allows greater life collaboration (although others consider such collaboration an invasion of privacy or "T.M.I."). So, if you perceive any malevolent or narcissistic motivation for my vast online presence, that's your problem, not mine...

You need lodging? Nice to see you back in the travel swing-of-things.

Thanks for asking!

Whilst in London, I will need lodging -- however, I need to give you fair warning about something new this time around...

I will be WORKING from 1am-1pm BST (yes, you read that right, 01:00-13:00 BST) on the days indicated I'm working.

I'll e-mail you with further details...

Re: Thanks for asking!
If working involves stomping around loudly, swearing a lot, or screaming in frustration, that might be a problem. Otherwise, in your room you are free to work or not, as the case may be. I leave the router on 24/7, so your computer should be unaffected.

Looking forward to it!

Please take me with you; I'll be good.......I'll carry your luggage.......PLEASE?!?!?!?!!?!?! Or can we doe the Orlando Bear Bust in the fall???? DROOL!!!!!!

On a personal note, you, "narcissistic"??? ROFLMAO

Anyone who knows you at all, especial a friend of 27 years, like MOI, knows you are certainly not. SHEESH!!

Your calendar keeps you on schedule as well as allow others, including MOI, to know where you are with regards to what number to call and what time zone you may be in.

As well, it allows me to live vicariously through you.

The Orlando Bear Bust is 14-17 Oct 2010, it sounds fun, but I will be WORKING 8pm-8am on the 14th, 15th and 16th. :-(

I'd love to drag you along to England -- but, again, I'll be WORKING from 1am-1pm (BST) most of my trip... I won't be good companionship...

This schedule really, really sucks...

I've added the Bear Bust to my calendar as "tentative", but I wouldn't count on it.... yet.

I look forward to hearing where you are off to. Hell, I don't travel much, so I like to see what other people do.

Thanks!

Perhaps, sometime, you might suggest something in your area? You're not that far away from NYC.
